  1. My son just did a State title that attracts racers from every state so the best of the best attend and the pace for the older age group 85cc section up to 16 years is very fast.  But to say exactly what pace they are doing is impossible as it depends upon the length of the track and the conditions.  At the weekend they were lapping at about 1 minute 30 seconds but it really means nothing unless you are intending to ride the same track.  All I know is it is hard to watch as you know if one of the top riders makes a mistake at the speed they are going it is going to be nasty.

Here we have a transponder system run by mylaps and if you look on their website it gives the top riders lap times.

  3. Its just like Auburn says. you need to define a track to be able to define a time. and with MX the track can and will vary so much with or without watering and new soil levels being applied the track does not always help judge times.

the only real test is to run at the front and see. most people know quick when they see it.

  4. They try and have it pinned everywhere...You have to let off for some of the tight corners....My son raced this last weekend and won every class in age and supermini...Only 18 riders in supermini....but it was a battle..

Here is a pretty cool video...check it out..

The video is last year but a good one....
