I feel both John McCain and Sarah Palin have proved to us in their past record of crossing party lines when necessary to put the best interests of our nation first over party politics----this is always controversial and requires courage---yet they are both know to do that.

Do these fine traits influence your decision in any way?

  1. National Unity is more important to me...

We are in troubling times in America, and on world fronts where we really really need to come together as a country. Blaming Bush for everything when he’s not even going to be in office or isn’t in the running is not coming together… anarchist & terrorist also do the same thing.

The democrats were the first to claim "unity" yet their party was split this entire election cycle since the media and the DNC ran around, and split things between Hillary & Barack, and the party.

I thought Barack might chose Hillary as his Vp and bring together the party in true unity but it never happened... and Hillary sounded like she was acting when she gave her speech at the DNC in favor of giving the nomination to Barack Obama...

I didn't see anything like this coming from the republicans... They have two good candidates, and I would rather see someone elected that supports our troops and the war we are already in while they plan to win it and bring them home with honor giving millions of Iraqi people a taste of freedom, and taking the dictator Saddam out of power… That would probably have never happened under democratic rule.

  2. National Unity

they have crossed the line because they believe in national unity; party unity is proving daily it only divides the country over all.

  3. Politicians who actually are willing to walk across the aisle and work with the other party.

    McCain/Palin

Kudos for Gov Warner at the DNC who talked about working across party lines and for that, the Democrats took him off his prime time slot and moved him to the middle of the afternoon.

    Shows the DNC attitude

  4. National Unity...but there is no way in h**l, I'll vote for a 72 year old with an ex beauty queen as VP

  5. Country First that's why I'm voting McCain/Palin in '08.
