National Volleyball League on its way to be sanctioned – Volleyball news
Following the stupendous success of NVL events in 2011, the National Volleyball League of USA is looking forward to accomplish more success in the 2012 season.
The NVL has planned to organise six large-scale lifestyle events in the running season. In order to host these professional events, the NVL is seeking approval from USA Volleyball (USAV).
According to recent news, the USAV has showed willingness to sanction the 2012 events of National Volleyball League as they worked out pretty well during the previous season. The NVL successfully organised Triple Horse Race in Baltimore last May and also
produced a big tournament, the Preakness Stakes. This year, the National Volleyball League is all set and determined to organise 25 collegiate events.
Supposedly, the National Volleyball League will join hands with National Collegiate Sand Volleyball Association and Sinjin Smith Volleyball, in order to make these events happen. By competing in NVL events, the athletes can increase points in the USA Volleyball
Beach National Rankings and it is a factor in the success of NVL tournaments.
The National Volleyball League was founded by beach volleyball legend and 18-year professional veteran Albert Hannemann in late 2010 and it successfully completed its first season in 2011. The sole purpose of the NVL events is to unite the volleyball community
and to create opportunities for players. It is a player-focused league, which allows fans to interact with sport’s greatest stars
The USAV managing director for beach volleyball Dave Williams praised the great efforts of NVL. He shared his views in the following manner, “The National Volleyball League provides an important domestic platform for our experienced professional stars, and
our elite development beach volleyball athletes. We are excited to see world-class athletes and compelling lifestyle events showcasing our sport.”
Likewise, the founder of NVL Hannemann said that they are delighted to work with USAV. He appreciated the support and cooperation of national governing body of volleyball USA.
“We have worked very hard with the players to establish a tour that they can play on for many years to come. It is crucial that we all work together for the betterment of the sport. Our tour offers the players a place to showcase their talents and compete
at the highest level so we can continue to dominate the world of beach volleyball,” he concluded.
