National body average reality

Question

According to what I have read, the average height for an American woman is 5'4 and a man maybe 5'9. I don't think this is accurate. The U.S. is very diverse (in numerous senses), and I don't think this fact is depicted in these national averages. Anyone willing to participate in my study, please write your height, weight and ethnicity. As far as ethnicity, be sort of specific, like instead of just saying asian american, say east-asian or southeast asian american.

Using the stats I get on this, I'm going to calculate a rough national average.
