National coach Seu Bock admires Chong Wei’s decision to concede the All England final

The Malaysian singles coach Tey Seu Bock admired Lee Chong Wei that he made the right decision to concede the All England final after suffering from severe shoulder pain as he has a vital role to play in the upcoming 2012 London Olympic.
The Malaysian maestro Chong Wei was in quest for his hat-trick All England Title but could not hit the mark due to a surprise shoulder injury in the final match against his Chinese archrival Lin Dan.
The World Number one shuttler Lee Chong Wei reportedly played semi-final with a hurting shoulder but it became worse during judgment day against Lin Dan and he quit after losing first set with 19-21 and trailing 2-6 in the second game allowing Lin Dan to
wear the crown for the fifth time.
National Coach Seu Bock calls it a wise decision as Chong Wei was not physically and mentally at his best in final clash of the titans.
He said, "Lin Dan was also in good form and Chong Wei needed to be at his best to beat him on Sunday. There is little he could do as he was even struggling to lift his shoulder while executing his strokes."
The coach is of the view that Chong Wei is Malaysia’s biggest hope for a medal in the mega London Olympics where he will surely have a chance to take revenge from the defending Olympic Champion Lin Dan who stopped his race for glory in All England Open.
Seu Bock applauded his decision not to put the London Olympics into danger by quitting the title match in All England Open.
The national coach said, "If Chong Wei had persisted, there was a strong possibility the injury could have got worse and this will affect his build-up to the Olympics. It's a pity he couldn't complete the hat-trick but Chong Wei is still an All England champion."
According to initial reports, the Malaysian maestro is not seriously injured and he will recover in few weeks as he is expected to grace four tournaments with his presence before the prestigious London Olympics in July.
