National honor society - Leadership and Community service from?

Im applying for national honor society but i dont know how to start answering the application froms.

"Explain your paticipation or voluntary role.(Be as specific as possible)" and

"Explain your role as a leader in your activity by defining some criteria from successful leadership and addressing how you met the criteria"

Any thoughts of what i can write down for those two questions?(im member of the volleyball team, student counsil, and also im helping new students that are moving in to our school) PLEASE HELP! thank you

i am surprised you are having trouble by the looks of your impressive resume.  I was in NHS so lets see if i can help you.  Voluntary role-obviously you should list how you are helping new students move into school, and other service related activities you did with student council perhaps? Think of all the other things you have worked for examples i helped in soup kitchens, Habitat for Humanity, any other organizations. Leadership-Any particular position in volleyball? Certainly write about student council, surely that has allowed you to do leadership roles such as being the leader or speaker infront of a group.  What organization have you helped with- they want you to be specific so they know you are not making it up. other examples of org. are safe harbour, toys for tots, any other organizations you have ever heard of.
