Nationality traits, is this where hereditary comes from?

Question

I am Irish, English and Scotch. My husband is Hispanic and Native American. Rachaels bdad is French and Native American. My other 2 sons are half Italian. Has anyone ever wondered if there is a nationality out there that doesn't have the stigma of addictive personality?

We have all heard about how much the Irish like to drink. Same with the Scotch and the English. Everybody's heard that Indians can't hold their fire water. Mexicans are notorious for being half lit all the time. I have also heard that Germans love their beer, then there is the Polish, the French, the Italians and their wine.

My questions are, Do you think the addictive personality that seems to be hereditary come from our Nationality? and Are there any Nationalities that have eluded this typecasting?

This is more for fun than anything else Just something that I have wondered for a long time. NO OFFENSE INTENDED TO ANYONE. Posting here because of recent similar questions.
