I've been searching for this for years. It concerns a mother bear and her cub. Most of the story poem lists her "lessons", she teaches him what to eat and where to find it and so on. They spend many happy summer days together. Then a day comes when she says "I have one last lesson for you son". She turns to him , bares her claws and says simply....."RUN!" As he flees in terror from her a tear rolls down her cheek.
I think this story may be called "The Good Mother" but all I've been able to find are references to a movie of the same name.
If anyone knows where I can find this poem, I would be very grateful.
