Question:

Native plant nurseries in Vancouver?

As part of my balcony make over, I would like to grow some native plants in containers. I have a good idea of which plants I would like to grow for the conditions on my balcony - e.g. red huckleberry, stream violet, wooly sunflower, etc.

The problem is I am having a bit of difficulty finding a nursery that supplies native plants in the Vancouver (B.C. Canada) region. Through work and volunteering, I know of Linnaea and N.A.T.S. (both of which are quite good), but both are unfortunately wholesalers, and of course, my balcony would not meet this criteria.

Does anyone know where I might try?

Thank you,
