  1. This is serious, Sue K. He can't afford to get sick, but I think he can even less afford to get sick-er and have to stay home or be forced to go to hospital.

Homeopathy is fine, but this is too complicated to get advice over internet. I am a homeopath and would never dare give you the name of homeopathic remedies here without knowing a lot more about the problem.

A homeopath would ask him relevant questions and would look at him and observe symptoms for at least half an hour before suggesting a remedy. If he gets the wrong remedy he might get worse.

I think for the sake of his health and for the sake of the family who wants a healthy husband and father, he should go to a homeopath to get the correct treatment.

Any advice and name of remedies over the internet can aggravate his case. Do you dare go down that road?

I wish you and your husband all the best. Your health is very precious. You deserve the best!

  2. take flax seed oil - 4 capsulles a day

    take 500 tablet vitamen E -

keep always warm as in if cold cilamet wear

marino wool as teashirt - never get cold -

see a good Ayurevda dr or good kinesiologist

  3. Sue.  Make a couple phone calls to local acupuncturists/herbalists.  A good naturopath would also be very helpful.

An acupuncturist can prescribe your husband an herbal formula that will run anywhere from $10-50/week.  Lots of options.

I am reluctant to give you the names of any specific formulas because herbs are intricate and combined in 1000s of different individual formulas - to treat each person individually.  There are many formulas that will help heal the scarring, reduce pain & rebuild lungs.

Check you local yellow pages, search for someone close to you @ www.acufinder.com.

Make sure you call & ask if they have experience treating TB & lung disorders.  Many acupuncturists treat general health problems, but there are also many that specialize.

The acupuncturist will also give you dietary guidelines, i.e. eating kiwi & pear daily to repair lung damage.

I'm sure you'll find a great solution. Good luck!

  4. Mullein (Verbascum) is an herb which is mainly used to heal lung tissue. It was one of the principle herbs in Europe, the US and the UK to help treat TB towards the end of the 19th C.

This herb is always present in herbal  formulas you will find for respiratory health and repair.

A tea of this would be soothing but it can also be taken as a tincture.

He also may want to increase his garlic intake. Garlic has wonderful antimicrobial properties. The oils go directly to the lung tissues and it's great for respiratory infections
