Please could someone help me with this question: How do Natural Gas Storage Containers work? When they empty and move down do they require space underground to move into, or are they split into sections and fold into another one?

  1. there is a rubber bladder similar to a ballon inside that inflates and deflates as the volume of gas changes

  2. PG&E has several large tanks here in California used to store NG. They raise the pressure in tanks during summer and releas it in winter when California uses more than the pipelines can bring in. That is why we need an LPG plant in California. But more importantly we need to use less, and the only real way is to pay the real price of the fuel. We must pay for the health effects, global warming and clean up.
