  1. Water, prunes, prune juice, apples, vegetables... Um, you kinda hit the nail on the head with the fiber thing. All of these foods have fiber in them except water. Water is good for regularity because it softens the bowel movements and makes it easier for them to come out. Certain yogurts, like Activia and Yoplait's Yo-Plus yogurt, are said to promote bowel regularity, too.

  2. senna, teas, lotza fiber from blending in a blender every day the following: polmagranite, blueberries, prunes (Crushed and diced up, ground senna(just a bit though) and bran cereal. Also drink lots of water and walk alot. Bouncing on a trampoline also helps loosen the bowels!!

  3. Pure Maple Syurp, not that ms Butterworths garbage, I mean pure maple syurp, preferably the stuff from Wisconsin, or the brand name Maple Gold.  That is what we use, just a teaspoon or 2 and that night, or the next morning, no problems. What is so freat about this is that you cannot over do it and need something to help slow you down once you go. Also, sweet potatoes The dried ones, not that c**p in the cans, and squash, Oh this really works. If you like, you can put a touch of syurp on the squash ans oh boy, no problems afterwards. I just wrap a sweet potatoe in foil and throw it on the grill, it cooks faster than regular potatoes or you can poke it and pre heat it in the microwave and finish it in the oven. The potatoe will give in to touch when done. Yummy!!!! Squash is great on the grill in foil, cut in half and cleaned and buttered and sugared or syurp. Happy pooping.

  4. Prunes, dried apricots, prune juice, raisin bran cereal, cherries.

  5. fruit, green leafy vegetables such as spinach, turnip greens or collard greens.

  6. Flax seed can be ground (into flax meal) and added to baked foods. Careful - not too much!

Psyllium is also a natural laxative. It is in Bran Buds (a cereal.) It is high in fiber, but not gritty. Be careful to not overdo the Bran Buds, they are super effective.

Fruit juice can have a laxative effect. Water is helpful, especially if you haven't been drinking enough to keep things in balance in your system.

Senna is a natural ingredient that is in over the counter laxatives and in laxative tea.

Just remember that natural doesn't always equal safe. Senna is used in Ex-Lax. Keep that in mind if you use the laxative teas that are in stores. Also, if you use one of the senna teas, stick close to home for a few hours. The work... suddenly.

  7. fig bars, any dried fruits- drink plenty of water when eating them.

  8. I hear prunes are good for bowel movements

  9. fruit

  10. Smooth Move Tea is a great natural laxative. It uses senna leaf which is a natural laxative and works pretty well. Usually you can have a cup before you go to bed and wake up and be quite refreshed.
