I am sure I am going through depression.

I get so upset so easy. Its weird, I love being a mom and wife, I wouldnt ever choose anything different. But I feel so upset all the time. Sometimes I just cry. I am sure that being at home all the time without getting a break doesnt help. Sometimes I think I just want to die, but I wouldnt ever harm myself. I know my husband and kids need me.

What I need to know is if there is a natural Liquid supplement or tablet I can take. I cant take Geltabs or Capsules, they make me vomit.

  1. Hello... it is obvious that your cause of depression could be from the hormonal changes going on in your body.  I have researched what hormones and toxicity can do the body for years.  I would highly advise you to look into getting a hair follicle test done by an expert, and it should tell you what toxins are in your body, and even if you have a hormonal imbalance going on.  Once you know this, you can then take the next step...  if you have toxins, you have to get them out.  So homeopathy is the best route for this....  if you have a hormonal imbalance, there are different options that can help you.  So seek help in this order... hair follicle test, detoux, or hormone replacement.  I can tell you that getting toxins out of your body will help immensely.  I know this because it happened to me.  So look for a qualified homeopath that may also do hair follicle testing... this is the fastest route.  Good luck to you.

  2. Well IF were me I would use the Australian Bush Flower Essences (these are not drugs or herbs) They are an energy medicine.  The general depression mixture (from stock bottles) 7 drops each in an ounce to make a dosage bottle (shake) take 7 drops morning and night and if feeling really bad add 7 drops of dosage bottle in a bottle of water 16 oz or so and shake, sip till you feel calm and content. the mix listed is Waratah + Sunshine Wattle + Tall Yellow Top + Black-eyed Susan + Red Grevillea (found on page 211 of Australian Bush Flower Healing by Ian White)

  3. See if you can find Omega 3-6-9 in liquid form and take the recommended dose 3 times a day.  It ends up being like 6,000 mg a day.  Yes, it is safe.  My doctor suggested this and some people even take double that.

  4. Awwww, my friend...

it is completely normal to feel this way, infact, it is completely normal to feel much worse than you are describing. Unfortunately I can't tell you about some miracle pill that will make it go away. I can, however, recommend you make an effort to spend more time away from the baby and your husband, and reconnect with the friends and hobbies that used to occupy you before this huge demand on your attention arrived in your life. It can also be helpful to talk to your physician about starting a little antidepressant. A low dose of Zoloft usually fits the bill for what you are describing. It doesn't mean you're crazy, it just means your hormones are off kilter and you need a little extra pick me up. So many people these days take medication every day you would probably be shocked to know.

I hope this helps, and I want you to know that many, many women have gone through what you are describing and it in no way makes you a bad mother. I am really glad you are looking to talk about it. I didn't have the internet and was too scared to tell anyone, and I had to suffer alone.

    *hugs*

  5. Postnatal depression is most common after the first pregnancy.

It can happen either a few days or weeks after the birth, with a slow or sudden onset.

The exact causes of PND are still not known.

Support and patience from family and friends is perhaps the most crucial factor in a woman’s recovery.

Breastfeeding reduces the likelihood of postnatal depression.

If you do not breastfeed a good quality marijuana is helpful. It can be in the form of butter, milk, cookies an salads (oil must be included).

Smoking it is the last option and not recommended by me.

Learn how to prepare the former and you'll happy.
