Question:

Natural Tooth Restoration?

Has anyone tried or read the findings of Gerarg Judd, PHD? He is America's most honored Chemist. Has anyone ever heard of Monosodium Phosphate regrowing tooth enamel and healing decayed teeth? If you've tried this and it's worked, please let me know. Or has anyone used the homeopathic remedy called Symphytum OFF, and found that it worked to restore tooth enamel caused by decay? Thus removing the brown or black decay and resulting in white healthy teeth? Would love to hear your story or research. Thanks.

  1. Gerard Judd is a dental renegade who believes all kinds of crazy, discredited and downright ridiculous things and who uses everything from misrepresenting data and outright lying to preying on the public's fears to spread his ideology. What I would say is that there are two sides to every story. Why not research what people who disagree with him say, look critically at their evidence and make up your own mind?

Anyway if you've got some you may was well give monosodium phosphate a try. Phosphate is a component of enamel so maybe it would help.

The only treatment (that I'm aware of) that reminerises enamel (i.e. hardens that which already there rather than growing it anew) is fluoride. There's a lot about that here: http://www.doctorspiller.com/fluoride.ht... The ions in your saliva do a similar thing but don't make it as resistant to attack. New enamel itself can't be grown because the cells which produce it (ameloblasts) are on the enamel surface when the tooth comes through and so are scraped off when the tooth is first used.
