I was diagnosed with onset of cataracts after I found that I was having trouble seeing traffic signs clearly when driving at the end of the day.  My doctor said that if the problem became bothersome, I should have cataract surgery. That really got my attention, so I started driving most carefully at that time of day.

  5. I improved my eyesight by not wearing my glasses constantly.  When I work out, I take them off (usually 2 hours at a time, a few days a week) and after a few months of doing that, my eyes were stronger.  I doubt I would ever be able to not wear glasses, but that did decrease my prescription!
