  2. apple cider vinegar, and also try a little cayenne pepper.. helps me alot when i loose my voice to larengitis! good luck! go to the link sissy put up, awsome site for cures!

  3. As others have said, don't talk at all. Your larynx needs to heal itself. You can help out by making some ginger tea. Take a piece of ginger about 2 thumbs in size. Peel and cut it into chunks. Mash the chunks with the heel of the knife and then boil them in 4 cups of water for 15 minutes. Strain out the ginger bits. Add a bit of honey. Sip this while it's warm to hot and let it slide slowly down your throat.

Increase your intake of vit C, too.

  4. Saline gargle, (salt water) add a little cayenne pepper.  Burns but this will aid in reducing the swelling.

  5. numero uno: don't stress your vocal cords by talking!!

lemon juice and honey and a pinch of cayenne pepper is a natural cure, you'll want to put it on a spoon and suck it. It'll help coat your larynx and relieve laryngitis.

heat helps, I know it is summer but put a hot rag over your throat.zinc lozenges are wonderful!

    salt and hot water gargle

  6. I had that 2x this year. Honey, eat honey, it helps! Hot tea with honey too. NO milk or dairy, that makes mucus. And don't talk or whisper, whispering is actually harder on your vocal chords than talking! Don't clear your throat either...

  7. I had that. The only thing to do is rest and try not to force yourself to talk.Your vocal cords may be inflamed.
