Natural disaster deaths, With the toll being around 200,000 within the last year,?

(.00002 percent of the population) do you think Mother Nature is stating to fight back ? Do you think the numbers can reach into the millions or even billions ??

  1. Yes.

    I view such events as natural "population control." Vote me down as much as you want, I know it sounds harsh and horrible but thats how I see it. It sucks buts thats life. Everyone is vulnerable to dying in natural disasters. If a tsunami hit Manhattan, that would amount to millions of people...so, yes I think the numbers can get that high. I do not know the liklihood of a tsunami hitting Manhattan though.

    I guess you could also count an asteroid hitting the earth as having potential billions of casualties as well.


  2. There's no such thing as Mother Nature.  All there is is a lot more people in vulnerable areas than there used to be.  Stuff 20 million indigent people on sea level shorelines in cyclone prone areas and guess what?  They get drowned when the invevitable cyclone hits.

    It ain't rocket science.
