What disaster?

What environmental disaster are you talking about the one that may happen in 30 ,50 or 150 years from now but has not as yet. Is this the environmental disaster  you are talking about?

1.  Earthquakes - results of 2 earth plates rubbing against each other.  Can man stop them?  no.

2.  Tsunamis - the result of an underwater earthquake.  Can man stop them? no

3.  Volcanos.  2 plates moving apart.  Can man stop them? no (cut and paste)

4.  Hurricanes.  The result of low pressure over the warm sea causing hot air to rise and spin.  Can man stop them? no

5.  Tornados.  The result  of low pressure and rising hot air intermingling with the jet stream (probably) Can man stop them? no

6.  Floods.  Caused by monsoonal rain due to the area of low pressure under the sun which moves in relation to the earth.  Can man stop them? no  (though we do cause floods in other ways)

7.  Drought.  caused by the area of high pressure about 30 degrees north and south of the part of the world directly under the area of low pressure under the sun.  etc etc etc
