  1. I've heard of people using henna to darken or redden their hair, but I've never actually tried it myself. I've seen others do it with some pretty high rates of success though. I'm sure if you google it you'll come up with some tutorials that people have written.

I have, however, lightened and highlighted my hair with lemon juice. Apply it to your hair and spend some time outside in the sun. You'll have to repeat the process over a period of time (a few weeks) to see some really noticeable results, but it DOES work.

  2. Probably not the answer you are looking for; but kool-aid works.  Mix the powder with water and put on your hair, leave for awhile (30mins to hour) and it will dye your hair.  When I was young, I dyed it pink with kool-aid and it works.  I don't know if kool-aid actually comes in some more "natural" colors.....I don't think so.

  3. if you put lemon juice in your hair and sun bathe, it lightens your hair.

  4. Eh good luck.  I really haven't heard of homemade hair dyes.

Also, unless you already have really blonde hair, lemon juice isn't going to do a thing.
