nothing natural. if you have a really severe drinking problem you can ask your doctor to perscribe you antabuse (disulfiram). it causes you to become very sick within minutes of injesting any alcohol. it's pretty drastic, but if you've tried rehab and/or 12-step programs to no avail...it may be worth a try. it eliminates drinking as an option, so you have no choice...unless you don't mind being sick all the time.

There is no natural mediciine to stop drinking problems.  Just use your will power.

Be forewarned though, if you go to AA they will attempt to use your weakness for alcohol to convert you to Christianity.  There are several support groups that are completely secular.  Unless you want God crammed down your throat, I suggest you find one of those.  I've included a link to a good one.

If you don't have a nutritionist to see or can't afford one , I would suggest you go on google to Dr. Balch, He is well known for everything, My md. agrees with him very much. You go on his site and you put in your problem and then the meds you are on now and he will create you a formula , just for you. i know that niacin is good, good for the craving and actually a lot of natural things help.Most ppl that drink a lot are malnutritioned from it. Including the brain mostly and it really affects the legs. My brother is very sick now with alcoholism, he can't even walk but a very short distance and is skin and bones. I try to help him and he has been in treatment many times but just won't stay off of it.

I would highly reccommend that you try Dr. Balk , you can get only one bottle of vit. min. formula instead of what he recommends. You will get your order in less than a week, he also takes back the unused portion if you don't want it and credits you for it. Take care now, you will be ok, i totally believe that if you are asking for help it will be done.

The natural medicine they had back in the 60s-70s were actually addictive drugs.  The only suggestion I have is rehab or a 12-step program.  Cold turkey or fake remedies will not work.

Don't believe any medicine stops a drinking problem safely. Get into an AA group or a church support group. Psychologists can help, but $$$.

If you're an American Indian, you probably have inherited a gene that weakens you towards alcohol. It's not well understood about Caucasians & alcohol. Addiction & habit are only two connections.

You need help to stay away from all alcohol. Just do it! Good luck! :)

I worked on an alcohol detox unit and never heard of any natural product or medicine that would stop you from drinking, and I don't know of any but I do know that AA and support from others who have stopped drinking is better than any medicine.

Firm committment and desire to  quit.  AA and the 12 step program can help, IF you have a desire to quit, will attend meetings and admit that you are not able to control your drinking without help. And live a lifetime full of sobirety. It is great and will open a lot of doors that were closed to you, if your are drinking.

I do alcohol and substance abuse counseling, and know of NO NATURAL remedies that will help you stop drinking.
