  3. Seaweed is for hypOthyroidism NOT hypERthyroidism. People with hypothyroidism have low iodine and seaweed can help. But eating too much seaweed can push someone to a hyperthyroid state. Or it can make the exhisting condition worse if they already have it.

    Hypothyroidism shouldn't be treated lightly or self-treated without some professional guidance. If you are interested in alternative therapies I would suggest you seek out professionals to help with your treatment, whether it is a certified herbalist, a homeopath or a naturopath.
