  1. i have read some books on the subject.  cut down on dairy products. and watch what you eat.  no fast food. and watch foods with dyes in them red, green blue.  these are very bad for you. in europe they have banned dyes in there food, now doesn't that tell you somthing. try it for a few weeks . i bet you will feel better.

  2. Try Nettles capsules. That usually works in about 15min.

At www.chakra4.com they have another capsule mix called Nasal Support. That also works good. With me, just boosting the immune system sends allergies away. Have 2 oranges a day, or drink Hibiscus tea. Citrus always makes me feel fresh with a stuffy nose.

  3. I have not tried it as I do not suffer from seasonal allergies but I read somewhere along the line that eating honey helps. It is a long term process and can take up to 3 years to become totally effective but it said that you should see a lessening of symptoms the following year.

Within the honey are small amounts of pollen and by exposing yourself to it you become immune to it. (sort of like vacinations work).

I have no proof of this but if you are not allergic to honey.....what damage can eating a honey sandwich a couple times a month do?

  4. Netti pot works great or go to your local Walgreens and pick up a neilmed sinus rinse. It is an easier to use then a netti (for me) package and has full instructions.  The price is about the same.

  5. One I know of, which was recently featured on the Oprah show is using a netta pot to rise out your sinuses. apparently this helps control allergies.

  6. #1 REMEDY: APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Apple Cider Vinegar is hands down our favorite remedy for stopping most allergies like pollen, dander, dust, animals food, etc. We aren't kidding! We wish more people knew about this amazing home remedy for allergies.

We have found that when apple cider vinegar is taken either as a daily tonic or at the first sign of an allergy (i.e., sinus headache, stuffy nose, watery eyes), one can completely stop the histamine response or allergic reaction.

There are a couple ways you can drink apple cider vinegar. One way is to put 1/8th cup ACV in 16 oz of water and sip it throughout the day. The other method is to gulp the mixture at once. Depends on your preference, really. Sometimes you just have to take this dosage once to stop the allergy and sometimes you need to take it up to three times a day. If taken at the onset of symptoms, allergies will usually disappear between 1 -3 hours after taking the first dose of Apple Cider Vinegar. If you've been experiencing allergies for a day or more, your symptoms will disappear after about 24 hours. If they don't, make sure you continue to take water/vinegar mixture for several days! The great thing about apple cider vinegar is that it appears to repair the immune system over time. So while you may take it every day for a month or two to begin with, you can taper off it and then only take as needed.
