  2. Cut out shampoo/conditioner. there are many ways to wash hair (tea, vinegar, beer, rice water...), check out this forum for ideas: http://community.livejournal.com/no_poo/

    wash your face by applying a baking soda mask, allowing it to dry, and washing off. Chose a natural astringent (lemon juice, tea tree oil, apple-cider vinegar...)

    cut out soap completely. You don't need it.

    Make toothpaste out of baking soda & hydrogen peroxide.

    The list goes on. I commend you for your efforts to go green. It's good for your body, as your body will stop absorbing mysterious, dubious or carcinogenic substances which we don't know much about.

    Of the list above, I follow the hair care and face/body wash regime. The toothpaste is something I've only heard about, but normal toothpaste contains fluoride, so I'm going to use up this one tube and switch.

  3. Chamomile Shampoo

        * 4 bags of Chamomile tea

        * 4 tablespoons Castille soap flakes

        * 1 1/2 tablespoons glycerin

    Let the tea bags steep in 1 1/2 cups of boiled water for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and with the remaining liquid add the soap flakes. Let stand until the soap softens. Stir in glycerin until mixture is well blended. Pour into a bottle. Keep in a dark, cool place.

    Additionally, you can clean just about anything with a mixture of baking soda and vinegar.

  4. Where are you from? our earth is full of natural and organic.  any thing that is not man made, manufactured or processed is  natural. Wash up with water alone is natural and if your water is not polluted it is organic.  You add salt or baking soda to you water, it cleans good.
