Naturalization through marriage interview?

My fiance and i are getting married and we're naturalizing through that, we're just wondering what the interview is like what they ask and all that jazz??

  1. Marriage does not give one automatic rights to citizenship, there is no such thing as "naturalization through marriage." -

    Residency is obtained through marriage, citizenship is not. Marriage is a route to citizenship but not directly.

They asked very few questions to my mom and her husband (name of parents, when did you get married, what does ur song thinks about your husband and maybe a couple others) and  almost didn't asked me anything. They do a background check b4 you have ur interview so they know whats the deal with the people. Just bring pictures (know the names of all the ppl in the pics), marriage certificate,  taxes and the stuff they mention on the appoinment letter.

    Our interview for the green card was this morning btw...

  3. There is no naturalization through marriage.  You can get a green card through marriage, but naturalization is a different process.  Marriage doesn't affect it.
