Natwest. Does your overdraft automatically renew?

Question

Do you have to go to the bank and say something like I want an overdraft again this year. Or come september does the bank put the overdraft in your account when it realises you have absolutely nothing.

How does it work. Thanks

Its a rolling thing, although Natwest regularly review and may increase or decrease the limit.  It is not an annual agreement though, it just keeps rolling.
