I am so sick and I don't know how much more I can take! It's affecting every part of my life, I can barely go to the store or even leave bed for more than ten minutes at a time. I always feel dizzy. Every time I eat I throw up. I am able to keep SOME fluids down, enough that I don't have to go to the hospital. My doctor prescribed me Promethazine, but I just dropped off my last scrip and it only comes with 8 suppositories, enough for a few days. I just feel so depressed over it. I also have a horrible toothache, and I went to the ER last night since my dentist can't get me in until the 29th, and they gave me Ammoxicillin to take. That seems to make the nausea worse. Anyone else feel this way? I'm 27 weeks on Friday.

  1. I know what you are going through. I had terrible nausea with both my pregnancies. I also have anemia which means low iron which increases my nausea and vomiting. I throw up everything including water. With my second pregnancy I  had a very bad tooth infection which require me to take antibiotics. i couldn't even work properly i had to go home early from work everyday. So i know how it feels. I lost over 20 pounds during my pregnancy because of that. My nausea lasted me up to 6 months of pregnancy. Some women don't get sick at all. How lucky some are. Hopefully you will feel better soon. Good Luck.

  2. That really stinks hun. I feel bad for you. I don't know how this will work because your nausea seems extreme but try chewing on some gum, i prefer bubbalicious. It helps my nausea all day long.! I really hope you feel better! Good luck =(

  3. Sorry you are going through that.  Sounds like Hyper Emesis Gravidarum, but if you are seeing the doc and getting the promethazine that's good.  Tell the doc you need more refills, or a different med.  The dizziness could be from feeling weak, from low sugar.  Use ginger ale, ginger tea, crystallized ginger works pretty well.  Crackers help, too.  Make sure to keep taking your prenatal vitamins, if you aren't eating much you need the nutrients.

  4. My nausea was getting to be that bad but my OB put me on Reglan and its takes the edge off. Call your OB and ask about it. Good luck.

** I forgot to say that Promethazine made my nausea worst. The Reglan was a life saver
