  1. NAS Pensacola, FL.  The base is huge and has everything you could possibly need...golf, fishing, beach, naval aviation museum etc, blue angels..etc.  It's largely a training base for pilots and aircraft maintenance students so it's typicall a pretty relaxed environment.  As for the town...some of the nicest beaches in the US are within 20-40 minute drive, all white sand..and you are only 2.5 hours from Mardi Gras or 80 minutes from Panama City.  This is the place to be if you are single for sure.

  2. Pearl Harbor, Hawaii! It is great, warm weather all year round, new housing and barracks, 4 commissaries and 7 exchanges to shop at, cheap eats, get COLA, low sales tax, lots to see and do, locals are great (never had a problem with them for all the years we lived there, some where great friends), and the list goes on from there.  Plus if you are stationed on a ship there you get to go all over the place, Australia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Canada, etc...

San Diego was alright, as expensive as Hawaii but no COLA.  Finding a decent place to rent can be difficult, high crime (1 month of murders/deaths is what there is in 1 year in Hawaii about 26!), highways are the only way, people are crazy drivers (if you aren't doing 80 then they honk and speed by),  morning traffic to the base can be nasty at times.  But they do have a decent size commissary, you can go to several bases, Balboa Park is nice, SeaWorld is right there, can get to Los Angeles in 2 hours, all the way to Seattle in about 30 hours, decent flights out.

  3. batter?  Pillsbury naval base, Bisquick naval base,

    Betty Crocker naval base!

    Great Lakes Naval Base.

  4. Any of them near virginia beach.  Norfolk, NAS Oceana, NAS Dam Neck, NAS Little creek.  All central around virginia beach which is an awesome city with alot to do.
