Navarone expected to win The 2012 Gain Feeds Corn Cuchulainn 750 Round 1
Navarone is likely to win The 2012 Gain Feeds Corn Cuchulainn 750 Round 1 at Harold’s Cross in Ireland on Friday, June 22, 2012. A cash prize of €75 will be awarded to the winner of the Grade OR event.
The 750 yard flat race is scheduled to start at 20:04 GMT and following runners will be seen in action: St Mullins Pride, Come On Trigger, Navarone, Rathmoyle Ali, Melodys Lucky and Black Bolero.
There are some very good runners lined up for action at Harold’s Cross, which will make the competition quite interesting. However, the best chances of victory appear to be with Navarone, who is carrying the winning momentum right now. His performances will
definitely encourage the punters to risk a lot of bets on him.
The P. Buckley’s trainee has won a couple of times out of his previous five outings. He will be chasing a hat-trick of victories today and it will be hard to stop him from doing so. However, only one of those victories came in a Grade OR event.
Navarone has got extremely good stamina and he proved that in his most recent run at Harold’s Cross. He was given the best odds by the bookies back then and he did not disappoint them in the end, winning by a couple of lengths. He had a trouble free run
and did not allow anyone to come close to him.
Things will be a touch tougher for the black dog today, but he has the tools to outperform his rivals in the race. He is the son of Royal Impact out of Ballymac Floss and was born in August 2010.
On the other hand, St Mullins Pride has got plenty of experience and he will definitely be a top contender for victory at Harold’s Cross. He has managed to win once out of his previous five outings, which shows that he has not been in dominant form.
However, the Mullett’s trainee has the skills and experience to tackle with pressure situations, thus the punters will be interested in risking a few bets on him. He is the son of True Honcho out of In Between and was born in April 2008.
