Navel pierced or tounge?

Question

tomorrow my mom is going with me to get my belly button pierced. i want to, but i dont want it to seem like i am one of these these trashy and annoying girls at my school who have them. but i wouldn't flash it off to everyone like them

no one has their tongue pierced and i like to be different, but i wouldn't show it off to everyone.

if that makes sense haha.

so i dont know what do get..any help? :)

belly buttons are alot easier to take care of even though it gets infected easily. your tongue hurts for a few days and its hard to talk until u get used to it and alot of blood vessles pop on ur tongue and it looks gross until it goes away. another thing about ur tongue is that it hurts like a s****.when u are eating and u bite the ball so id probably say go with the belly button

I agree that too many people have navel piercings...but as long as you dont show it off ALL the time and be a s***k that go ahead and get it..

if I were you though I'd go with the tongue piecing,it's more unique:)

Navel rings will not cause you to run the risk of chipping your teeth.

I have several piercings, and my tongue is one of two that has never gotten infected at all.  It's been pierced for two years.  It doesn't hurt any more than getting your ears pierced, (I actually thought it hurt less,)  it's s**y but not flashy, it won't leave a weird bump under your t-shirts, and it can come in very handy for certain things. A tongue ring is also much less maintenance.

If you do decide to go navel, keep your stomach flatflatflat.

well i think that you can get whatever you want to get.but getting it on ur touge is more likely to get infectted then ur navel.but if you decide to get  it on your belly button and other girls see it just say you like it and they cant judge you becuase you are still gonna be the same person ur not gonna change or anything.

belly button, it's sexier as long as your not skankin it up.  The tongue piercing can kill the enamal on your teeth and chip your teeth (plus you won't be able to talk normal by the time school starts up.)

Belly button because tongue piercing can get infected way more easier than belly button piercings.

you wouldnt be known as TRASHY if you get your navel pierced...psh im getting mine pierced when i turn 16 sweetie....&& trust im far from TRASHY...more like classy...&& thats what you would be too....but if you want to get your tongue pierced then hey...lol..but you know what people say about tongue piercings...since you wanna stand out though...do the tongue...but like i said...you wouldnt be known as trashy...as long as you dont go flashing it off to lit boys && what not...the only person who should see it is ya bf/bessfran or whatever...&& the girls in p.e..haha...but do what you feel hun

I'm going to play devil's advocate and say neither. If you want to be different, why get piercings that so many other girls ( and some guys) have?

I really don't think that you should get your tongue pierced because honestly, I personally feel that it's one of the most trashiest piercings you can get.  No matter what a nice person you are, we all know what people think when they see females with tongue piercings...not a good look ! I think a navel piercing is much more conservative and cute, and hey-s**y.  Navel piercings CAN seem trashy depending on how you present them. Don't wear belly shirts to school or pull your shirt up for no reason.  Just dress as you normally would, and when it's seen when you go the pool or something or seen for some other reason- that's what's attractive about it. Don't go show it off though, that's so......corny. Hope you make the right decision !

I have my navel pierced and not many people see it.  I love it because it's a nice added jewelry.  I would say do not get the tongue piercing.  It's beyond trashy because people think that teens get their tongues pierced for sexual pleasure to others, if you know what I mean.  Stick with the navel.  Also with the tongue, a lot of work places do not like piercings like that.  It's a hassle to eat.  It's a hassle to heal.  Up to you, do your reading on these piercings before you comletely choose either or.
