  1. It hurt me a decent amount. They use a huge needle.

  2. Me and my friend went together to get ours done, the amount of pain depends on your stomach, i was young so my stomach was tight and it hurt but my friend was older and hers hurt less, it's like a pinch just.

They clamp it first and then put the needle through, as soon as the needles through the pains gone.

  3. The piercing procedure doesn't hurt that bad.  It just feels like a pinch.  I thought it hurt more afterward, because my navel was tender.

My experience went like this... She cleaned the skin.  Gathered a good amount of skin around my belly button, and put a clamp on it and had me lay down.  Opened a clean, hollow needle.  (I didn't watch) but felt her pierce my skin and it only stung a little bit.  Then she put the bar in immediately afterward.  I got kinda dizzy from the experience, so she just let me lay there.  Afterward, she told me how to clean and care for it, which is very important.

All in all I think it was worth it, because it is uber cute and s**y!  Just make sure to take very good care of it and it should heal fine.

  4. MY sister got it done last week. What they did to her was:

    1: Cleaned the area

2: They put clip things on her skin( it held the skin in place)

3: They used a thing that looked just like an skewer. It looked like it hurt but she said it didnt hurt as bad if you dont look at the needles and stuff

4: She flinched a little bit and said ouch but after that she was fine

5: They let her relax for a couple minutes

At the end they gave her a H20 Salt water cleaner and told her to spray it on the navel every morning and nite for 2 weeks then just at nite for the next 6 weeks. She has to twist it every morning also. I would get it done after all the pools close because you cant swim in chlorine. My sister tried and it got infected!!

    Hope i helped :)

  5. mine actually didn't hurt half as bad as i thought it would. but again, it all depends on your tolerance.  it's quick, and the only time it hurts is for the second it goes through. then you're fine. check out some videos to see how they do it. also look at the comments people leave on the videos to get an idea of how people feel about it.

  6. My sister's bf's neice did this like a few years ago.  They put a dot on your stomach with a marker, then you lay down, they clamp it, so the needle goes in straight, then they take a long needle (looks like a skewer) and they push it through quickly.

Pain depends on how much tolerance you have.
