im wanting to put in a new combined stereo like CD changer and a navigation system in my 1999 Mercedes ML420. I already have a bose stereo system, and a 6 CD changer located in the rear of my SUV, but id like it all combined up front and a navigation system installed. Also, I have an old car phone that i want to get removed because its no longer needed and once removed there will be a lot of room on the dashboard for these new features. What is the best products to use, while at the same time not being too expensive.

Thanks!

  1. you own a Mercedes and want to buy cheap stuff!

    many brands make navigation systems

    pioneer

    kenwood

    jvc

    alpine

none comes cheap until you get some cheapo chinese one.

there no way you can combine cd changer and navigation system until you go really hi-end and take the digital cd changer to work with hi end head unit like mcintosh or clarion which use digital sound processing via optical cable directl in to the after market head unit

all other cd changers are analog and can be connected to the company specific head unit using its controls

so don't think much unless your deciding to spend atleast 2500$ on combining navigation and cd changer.

good luck - and go the usual way
