How do you join, can you go ROTC through Law school that join it like you can with the army nurse ROTC?

  1. Good luck.  The JAG Corps is slightly different from the ROTC nurse program, but here are the ways you can join.

    1.  Army ROTC.

        -You can do the ROTC program during your undergraduate years,    and then request an educational waver, or reserve duty.

        -You can complete the ROTC program during the last 2 years of your Law degree.

    ---Completion of the ROTC program does not guarante appointment as a JAG officer

    2.  Apply directly to JAG

        -Both the Army and the Navy accept applications from people who have graduated from Law School.

    3.  JAG program

        -The Navy accepts students directly into their JAG program

    Please be aware that all these programs are competative.

    4.  Marine Corps PLC

        -The Marine Corps is the only one that offers guaranted acceptance to their JAG program.  After you graduate with your bacholors, you attend a summer training.  While at Law School, you are a 2nd Lt in the Marine Corps Reserve.
