Navy Corpsman or Coast Guard Medic?

I don't know which one to pick, I love the water and I want to be a Medic. Can you tell me the pros and cons of both of them?

If you join the Navy the odds are  you will be assigned to a Marine unit. That would be in combat with the Marines not on the water.

The safer thing would be the Coast Guard.
