  1. This question is asked how many times a day? you called have saved yourself 5 points. All I will tell you is it depends on the mission.

  2. sharks eat seals for breakfast id stick with the army. the british special air or army service  (sas) see more action and get more attention that the  special boat service (sbs)

  3. Marine Recon.

  4. I'd like to expound on the comment about swimming or teaching.

If you would like to dive in freezing cold water swim in insurmountable weather circumstances to plant explosives under a ships hull while under heavy enemy fire - be a SEAL.

If you would like to use linguistic and survival skills to teach the most advanced militia techniques including hostage rescue, EOD, patrol, espionage, and many more things to indigenous armed personnel, be a GREEN BERET.

You have to be smart, fit, motivated, and hard as h**l to discourage to make it into and through either one.

  5. You can volunteer for navy spec ops.

Can you volunteer for army spec ops, or do they choose you?

  6. Like swimming? SEALs.

    Like teaching? Army SF.

  7. much greater variety in SEALS depending on what team you are on.

  8. Navy SEALS are better.

Enjoy the Navy, it has better benefits and better career opportunities after you leave the Navy rather than the Army.

Also head to http://www.mynavyonline.com im KJC88 we can give you a lot more detailed information on SEAL work.

    Good luck Sailor!

  9. I have done some research on these two out of interest. I would say that neither is better than the other because they have different jobs to do. SEAL's do more water demolition missions and sneak attack missions. Get in get out type of deal. (although some SEAL's have been in places for months like the Green Berets)

Green Berets are teachers. Their job is to sneak behind enemy lines and train a native force against their enemy. So they can be behind enemy lines for months and months.

However, I have been hearing that they are starting to do similar things now.

I would choose the Navy SEAL's myself. I like the idea of sneaking up and being undetected. Having a mission to do and getting it done quick and getting out of there. With the Green Berets I would not be in to sitting behind enemy lines for long periods of time and having to teach people who can be turning around and telling all of what your saying to the enemy.

  10. if you want tough physical and combat training either..

I served in the Nuclear Submarine Force, the elite 5% of the Navy..and it has served me well..
