I am currently a Junior in high school. I know how difficult it is to get into both, or even one, but would anybody know how or the best way to do it? Or if you disagree on becoming an officer(only 1 chance at BUD/S), please state why. Please don't say talk to your Navy recruiter, because I will eventually. Thanks!

  1. go to the Naval academy. While there you can enroll into Seal program

  2. Well at the Naval Academy, job selection is based on Class rank.

The highest class rank, gets to choose thier field first.

They also have a seal program at the academy you can participate in.

But there are only about 25 seal slots a year available for academy graduates.

You could always go enlisted, make it into the teams, then get you degree and apply for OCS.

  3. Well if you mean how to make it easier to get into the academy then:

    - Get good grades, people think they don't count but they DO

-Try to become involved in community service or leadership programs because they will look at that when selecting

    -Extracurricular activities can help

Becoming a SEAL basically just requires extreme physical and mental strength, and leadership abilities.
