  1. New London, CT is one. I am stationed out here, not Navy. My husband is a USMC recruiter. Check out the website for more info.

    http://www.subasenlon.navy.mil/

  2. The link shows ALL US Navy ships by port.

Any hull number starting with SS is a sub. The letters after that tell you the type.

Go 2 the 2nd link for a list of all ships by type.

Don't tell anybody though, there are people out there that think this stuff is secrect. That's why the Navy hides the info on their own web site...pretty smart huh!

  3. From North to South, East to West, we have...

New London Subase, Connecticut, Homeport to: SSN (Fast Attack Submersible, Nuclear)

Norfolk Naval Base, Virginia, HP: SSN

Charleston Naval Base, South Carolina, HP: SSN

King's Bay Subase, Georgia, HP: SSBN (Ballistic Missile Submersible, Nuclear)

San Diego Naval Base, California, HP: SSN

Pearl Harbor Naval Base, Hawaii, HP: SSN

Bangor Subase, Washington, HP: SSBN, SSN

Those are all the submarine bases that each of the aforementioned classes of submarines call home, to my recollection. I would check back on the Fast Attacks, but the Ballistics I know like the back of my hand. Hope this helped!

  4. Ask the Russians or Al Quada

There are numerous sub bases from Norfolk VA, to Bremeton, WA, to Honolulu,  to secret places.
