Navy vs Marine EOD Tech.?

Question

So I am definetly joining the marines no matter what next summer but I was talking to a Navy recruiter who was telling me about being a Navy EOD tech. He said that Navy EOD tech's get a $40,000 enlistment bonus & get parachute pay, dive pay, Special assignment pay, etc. Is that the same for the USMC? I'm not joining for money at all..just wondering. THANKS

In the Marine Corps there is a shortage of EOD techs as well. They even offer incentives for Marines (Cpl-Sgt) of a $52,000 bonus to laterally reenlist as an EOD technician last fall so I'm pretty sure there are bonuses for enlisting as an EOD technician in the Marine Corps as well, assuming that you qualify and finish training.

They only paid that kind of money for NUKEs and ET.
