Nba 2k8 settings help (xbox 360)?

alright you know how if you tap the right stick its supposed to pump fake but when i do that it like does a jumpshot and automatically does it on its own like i cant controll weather i wanto to release the ball or not but if i use the x button it works just fine so is there any setting to turn that off?

No that's the way the game is, I think. I use the shot stick for dunks so.. no. I didn't see any setting that can change that.
