Nbc green week is a scam?

does anyone realize the G.E. owns nbc, and lets see generators at most electic plants of all sort and oh yeah sell lightbulbs, anyways do you realize by them selling you a bill of goods that they are doing their part, all they are truely doing is selling their own products?

They are trying to educate everyone on environmentally friendly ideas and products so who cares if they are talking up their products.  GE has done a lot to improve their contribution to harming the earth.  We need to change our habits and it will happen quicker if simple steps to start the process are readily available, like TV commercials.

Can't it be both?  Yes, maybe they're profiting off of their suggestions, but if it's raising awareness and causing more people to be environmentally conscious, does it really matter?
