  1. Verona, about 24Km from the lake.

  4. The gateway airports for Garda lake are Verona for the eastern half of the lake or Brescia for the western part. There are bus and train connections from either. I like flying in and out of Verona when I can - it's convenient to home.

  7. depends on where on the lake you are going    such a beautiful area though i would suggest milano because your coming from the us   the airport in verona is small and S****y so i would suggest the single flight into milano and going from there good luck and have fun
