Mullahoran is about ten miles from Cavan Town and five miles approx from the village of Ballinagh.It is also quite close to Granard in Co Longford.It has a shop/post office and a few scatered pubs in different locations.

mullahoran is the name of the parish.......there are 2 small vilages there called killydoon and finea............its also about a 10 minute drive from the town of Ballinagh and a 15 minute drive from cavan town itself.....also granard is quite close
