Nearly April 1st!!! Anyone recommend a new driver to me, are there any coming out in the next couple of weeks?

A good place to start is by checking Golf Digest's Hot List for 2008.  I included a link below.

Then I would suggest going to a pro shop that carry these drivers and hit the ones you're interested in.  Getting fitted for the driver you choose is a must!!!  A pro shop with a launch monitor will provide the stats the golf pro needs to properly fit the club to your swing & physical characteristics.

The best driver for you is one which you choose.  Try going to your local pro or driving range, and ask to try some of the drivers.  They will prob put a bit of duck tape over the face and you can hit a couple balls with it.  It should be fairly obvious which ones you don't like, then chose between the rest.

I have a cobra f speed and I love it.  I chose it that way.

Get fitted at your local well-stocked pro shop or clubfitter/clubmaker. They'll help you find the best club for your swing and body type.

I have recently bought the Callaway FX (the square one that Ernie Els uses). It is remarkably forgiving, and has added quite a few yards to my drive. I would highly recommend it to anyone (apart from the rather weird noise it makes when you hit a good shot)
