So,I am fine going swimming and using Tampons on My period, However I am really near the end of my period and so not much blood comes out, but when it does it is really dark. I have been on for 5 days now. So I am going swimming tomorrow and I would use a tampon, But if no blood comes out when swimming and i try to take the Tampon out after it will hurt, However if I don't wear a tampon and leak it will be majorly embarrassing because there will be a brown stain in my swimwear. Someone Help!!

  1. Check out your local Wal*mart or whatever and see if there are any tampons that are meant for light days when you really need one. Below is some Tampax Compak Lites meant for a small flow.

  2. Those are really your only two options. The pain from removing the tampon shouldn't be too much. just take a deep breath and pull it out like a band aid.

  3. I would wear one anyway. That way you won't have any embarrassment. But most likely your period won't be on tomorrow. It may be gone by then.

  4. If You Use A Tampon It Won't Hurt... It'll Absord The Water And You'll Be Fine

  5. I don't think it would hurt if u kept it in long enough.

  6. when your in the water you wont leak. when your outside of the water is when your vunerable to leaks

  7. just wear one anyways. The water will eventually make it swell so it won't hurt so bad.

  8. i just saw a commercial for the slender tampons for the light days. i'd give those a try :]

  9. I wouldn't use one for regular days. I would use something like tampax tampons lites, they are for light days i use them on my last days when i want to go swimming. =)

  10. if you still have a little it of period left use a slender tampon and don't worry about it hurting because if you swim long enough it will absorb the water and come out easily. have fun tomorrow!

  11. I think you will be fine.  Don't wear a tampon, it will hurt.  Soak in a tub for a while .  This will cease the flow temporarily or long enough to get in the pool.  Once in the water you have nothing to worry about.  If you're taking a trip to the pool after soaking in the tub try a thin pad or pantyliner and remove it right before you get in the pool.  Good Luck!
