  1. you should buy him a shirt, and it should say "worlds best dad!" and video tape him opening it, and tell him ur pregannt, omg thats so cute hahahaha best of luck to both of you

  2. how about fairy cakes with the letters on spelling out "im pregnant" or "morning daddy" or somthing cute like that.    if its near his birthday you could get a custom made cake with it on (:

    good look!

  3. buy a pacifier and gift wrap it in a box and leave it with a not for him to open when you leave the house or are going to be out!

this works with anything...baby shoes, a book of baby names, pampers....whatever

  4. -make a letter that says im pregnant or w.e. u want and stick it in the mailbox and tell him to go get the mail

-write "im pregnant" in huge letters in chalk on ur driveway and somehow get him to look out the window

-use those letters in baby toys like those blocks or w.e. to write it out on the bed so tell him one night, go up to bed ill be there in a minute, he'll see

    -have it announced at work

-go to a sports game if u guys r into that and have them announce it like they do when people propose

  5. I would change my email address... Like if ur last name is Smith, I would possibly change my email to say something like.. 3smiths@.....com.. or somethign of that nature. Then send him an email w/ It's me honey in the subject.. I am sure he will figure it out and be sooo shocked!

  6. Put a baby crib in his room with a baby that has a shirt that says I love my daddy. That would be soo cute.

I hope you have a wonderful life with your new child.

  7. if you like to cook, make a dinner with "baby"back ribs, "baby" carrots, and anything else that could possibly spark the imagination of a baby... during dinner ask what the future plans are around your due date. just to drop some hints, but without giving it away. if he doesn't put 2 and 2 together by dessert, then bring out a cake or pie with writting on it. he will look back at the dinner with all the "baby" references, and be shocked he didn't get the hint sooner!

  8. Wrap up some bottles or a baby outfit.

Or make a scrap book saying "daddy's brag book"

You can do the same brag book idea for grandparents and stuff like that!

    Congrats!

  9. make him a lunch of foods that have names with "baby" in them. make a salad with things like like baby corn, baby carrots, ect. if he asks whats up then tell him you just had babies on your mind or something. give him hints until he figures it out! its a fun way to let him know!

  10. Buy a pair of unisex baby crib shoes, and when you find out and are ready to share the news, serve them with dinner. And when the baby grows out of them, they can hang on your Christmas tree, or on your rearview mirror in the car.

  11. When my I found out I was pregnant I got him a card that was blank inside, the front said to my dad. I wrote inside Daddy I can't wait to meet you. See you in August, love Baby Bump. He thought it was the sweetest thing. When I found out I was pregnant with our other children I did the same thing with different wording.

Best of luck! Motherhood is so much fun and such a blessing!!!

  12. i used this 2 weeks ago to tell my mom i was having baby number 4, my oldest and  cut out letter from magazines and newspapers so it would spell

    AND BABY MAKES SIX

she thought it was so cute and my 4 year old had so much fun helping her

  13. Customize a t-shirt from www.cafepress.com

Tell him your cooking dinner that night, and wear the shirt that night!

Make it say something like "Bun in the Oven" or You're gonna be a Daddy!" and say, you like my new shirt?

  14. Bring home a Happy Meal like in the McDonald's Commecial...

or make a welcome home DADDY banner for when he gets home from work...

Buy a picture frame that says "I love my daddy" wrap it and give it to him.

  15. A few ideas:

1.) While he is in the shower sneak in the bathroom and take red lipstick and on the mirror write "WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A BABY...." with a heart around it.

2.) Go to the store and buy a delicate pair of white baby booties. Then gift wrap them in non-baby paper so it won't give it away to soon.

    Take him out to eat.

After your seated pretend your going to the restroom.

Give the package to the server, waiter or hostess at the restaurant and ask them to give your husband the present when they bring out the drinks.

When they hand your husband the gift he will bewildered and clueless asking whats this? For Me?..lol

3.) Paint or draw little stars or hearts here and there on yourself, starting on your cheek, neck, shoulder, etc...with little dotted trails between each. Tell him to follow the trail kissing each one. (Kiss here, now kiss here...) Then he'll get to one on your belly that says "Hello Daddy!" or "I love you Daddy!"

4.) Empty his sock drawer and fill it with newborn diapers.

and a note saying "Make room daddy... I'm moving in!"

  16. A lot of people will wrap up the positive pregnancy test as a gift but I think that is kind of gross and some men might not get what the test is anyway.

I think a cool way would be to go out and buy a little baby bib or t-shirt that says "I love Daddy" on it and wrap it up as a gift. Also since it was just fathers day you might go out and secretly find a #1 Dad t-shirt or something like that (lots on the clearance racks this week) and hide it away. When you find you are expecting you could give that t-shirt to him as a gift.

    GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES!

  17. try having a room of a certain color if its a boy or a girl with lights and see if h**l get the picture or have something dealing with food or try having a shirt that says i'm pregnant with an arrow pointing down

  18. When we had our first Child, my then wife, bought little baby blue and little girl pink socks, and a bib saying I love my daddy, and hid them around the house so I can find them unexpectedly, I thought it was so cute when I found the the first pair of little baby girl pink socks mixed in with my big pair of socks, then finding a bib mixed in with the kitchen towels, in the drawer that says I love my daddy.  I felt so proud and was proud of her, for doing that.

  19. wht my fiend did wuz go 2 kohls r sumthin and buy a newborns outfit. then show ur husbend and b like look wht i got 4 u. then he will say they r 2 small.then u say o, woops, i guess we will keep t 4 the baby

  20. If i were you i would do somehting along the lines of getting a car seat and putting it in your car and carrying a fake baby around until he notices. (hopefully not too long :P)

Or my personal favorite is to make love to him and then say "BAM im pregnant!" and after he stops laughing or looking at you crazy tell him u were serious :D

    Good luck on the baby!

  21. Make him a meal with baby carrots, baby corn, baby peas and see if he figures it out.  You could do mashed potatoes and steak with the veggies or youcould put his drink in a baby bottle so when he sits down, he really figures it out.  Well, congrats on your new addition(when it happens)!  Good Luck!

  22. I'd say send him flowers from an "anonymous source", telling him that you are pregnant, and he'll be stunned. ( My friend did this when he proposed to his girlfriend while on vacation- she cried after she found the ring on the ribbon around the vase)

  23. My bf really wanted a boy I found out while he was at work that we were having one so I bought a pink card and envelope and wrote to daddy on the envelope he opened it and in big letters I wrote it's a boy he was so excited.

  24. have you ever seen full house?

make baby foods for dinner and ask him what he sees in the food!

(baby carrots, baby peas, baby shrimp, etc.)

thats how my sister did it with her husband haha

  25. 3.) Paint or draw little stars or hearts here and there on yourself, starting on your cheek, neck, shoulder, etc...with little dotted trails between each. Tell him to follow the trail kissing each one. (Kiss here, now kiss here...) Then he'll get to one on your belly that says "Hello Daddy!" or "I love you Daddy!"

I read this from someone else's answer, and thought it was so cute. I would write *Muah* I love you too Daddy! or Peekaboo Daddy! You found ME!

  26. i'll tell you something i wish i would have done instead of screaming to the top of my lungs that if he didn't buy me cute maternity clothes i was going to be seriously POed... i wish i would have sat beside him, gave him a huge kiss, and asked him if he wanted a boy or girl??? i could only imagine the look on his face if i would have...

  27. You can  frame a picture of an ultra sound, or mabey get him a bib that says i love my dad!!!  CONGRATULATIONS i hope everything works out

  28. why not just have him there with you when you take the test. my fiancee was there with me everytime i took the test. i couldnt imagine doing it with out him. that way you both are in suspence for the 3 minutes it takes to get the result.

  29. - Arrange with your favorite restaurant to surprise your husband with some champagne halfway through your dinner to let him know you are going to have a baby. If the restaurant has a band, ask them to play a song that you like and dedicate it to the "new father" by announcing it to the whole restaurant.

    - Design a little scavenger hunt game at home and drop hints to your husband on where to find the next clue which finally leads to a prize. If you want to be really cheeky, write a message like "You are going to be a father" on your chest and tell him in the final clue that his prize is underneath your clothes.

    - Wrap a box and put a piece of paper in it that says something like "You will get your present 10 months from now!" and hand it to your husband. Tell him to open the present and he should know what to expect.

    - Go shop for some baby stuff and put them in places where your husband will see them. You could get some baby books, diapers, clothing and other baby items and put them on his desk or in his suitcase to surprise him.

    - If you already have a kid, purchase a custom shirt with the words "Someone is going to call me big brother/sister soon!" and get him or her to wear it and show it to your husband.

    - Make sure you husband is at home when you do this... Shout at the top of your voice to bluff your husband into believing you are in grave danger. When he comes to you, smile and hand him your pregnancy test kit with the positive result!

    - Cook some food with baby carrots, peas, corn and other mini versions of vegetables for your husband and serve them on baby plates and bowls.

    - Send a enormous bouquet of flowers and a card to your husband's office to let him know you are pregnant. Most men do not receive flowers at work so this is really going to surprise him.

I hope these ideas will give you something to work on when you tell your husband about your pregnancy. I look forward to that day and wish you all the best.

  30. Cook with only baby things like baby carrots, peas, baby back ribs..... and see if he notices! I got a card that has a penguin and a flower comming out of the snow. It said sometimes wonderful things pop up when you least expect it. I put the test in there and wrote. 'LIKE TWO LINES"!!

  31. I gave my husband a father's day card - even though it was nowhere near father's day! he was really confused for a while... until he opened it up where I wrote in "happy father-to-be day". hee hee... He definitely remembers it AND kept the card...
