Necchi Esperia sewing machine

Question

I inherited this machine, in a cabinet, and I looked for an instruction manual on it but could not find anything that looked correct.
The light comes on but the knee pedal does not do anything. I think the belt needs to be replaced. Can you tell me anything about this machine.
