Necchi Sewing Machine refurberation

Question

Necchi sewing machine not used in approximately 20 years--what do I do/not do to get into working condition again. There was nothing wrong with the machine when I stopped sewing so many years ago and I had always maintained it. Now, as I said it has not been touched in about 20 years.
