  1. 1 NL Antillian Guilder =  0.57143 US Dollar

If it's a new one, go by that value. If it's something old (over 30-40 years), you might wanna check around ebay for collectors interested.

  2. It doesn't likely have much if any exchange value in the US or Canada (don't know about Mexico, the other North American country :-), because currency exchange companies - like those at airports - and banks that exchange foreign currency generally only accept foreign banknotes, not coins.

The Netherlands Antilles (or "Nederlanse Antillen" in Dutch) are two island chains in the Caribbean.  They are an autonomous part of The Kingdom of the Netherlands but still use the old Guilder currency, even though the Euro is now used in The Netherlands.

According to Oanda.com, the Guilder is worth $0.55, which would give a 10 cent coin a value equivalent to 5.5 cents.  The coin may also be worth a few cents to coin collectors, in bulk lots of world coins sold on eBay or elsewhere.  Two earlier and scarcer dates, 1970 and 1974, may have slightly more value, particularly in as-minted, uncirculated condition.  Finally, this is a small coin made of nickel, so it doesn't have much metal value.
