Hello, I am 18 years old and have frenulum breve. I have had it my whole life and never really cared. But now I want to get it fixed as Im becoming more sexually active. Has any one else had this problem? I know I have to see a urologist for the 10 min surgery but what if I want to do it privatly without going through my parents at all because im under their health insurance. Also how much would such a procedure cost. It requries 10-15 minute surgery under local anthestia. Any help would be appreciated.

  2. no

  3. No need for surgery, my friend!

Your family doctor can prescribe an inexpensive course of betamethasone cream for you to apply to your glans and under your f******n, and some gentle stretching routines... and in a few weeks or a couple of months you'll be fine.

  4. i don't think you have a choice but to go through your parents...i wouldn't worry, they'd understand even if you are 18...the procedure will most likely not be cheap. doctors need to make some money...

just tell them it isn't just because you are becoming sexually active...

  5. If you are 18, you don't need your parents consent all you need to do is make an appointment with your doc to talk with him about it, he should already have your insurance info on hand. He will tell you everything you need to know, including how much it will cost if the procedure it's self is not covered by the insurance.

  6. i had no idea what that was, so i googled it on images, i wouldnt get it fixed if i were you that looks like it would feel incredible!
