Need BIOS, and SATA help....Please!!!!!

Question

Here we go...... I can not find a good copy of BIOS. When the motherboard was working I was trying to get it to recognize my Western Digital SATA harddrive. (model WD3200KSRTL) Im not even sure that they are compatible. I have tried to both connectors , was getting ready to try changing the jumper setting just before the BIOS was lost. I am very ameture at this so please explain as if i were a child.
