Need Birthday Party Ideas for Narnia and Indiana Jones?

I have two parties coming up for a 6 and 8 yr old. Narnia and Indian Jones. Anyway I want to turn my whole house into Narnia and same with Indiana Jones. Any ideas for food decorating, games, etc would be appreciated

I am not that familiar with Narnia but here are some ideas for an Indiana Jones themed birthday party:

Send out invitations in the shape of Indy's famous Fedora hat and since Indy is an Archaeologist, get a #10 Marshaltown trowel - can buy at Home Depot and it is the type used by archaeologists when they dig - to use to serve the cake, map out an 'archaeological dig site', with string to form a grid in the backyard and have the kids 'excavate' to find little goodies that you have hidden in the dirt in advance. Give them inexpensive paint brushes to use to brush the dirt away and they can use spoons in - place of spades and shovels - for digging. Make the cake in the shape of either a sarcophagus or the Ark of the Convenant; make a 'dirt cake' and have it 'crawling' with gummi worms as snakes; have the kids come as one of thier favorite characters from the movies; decorate with gummi rats {'There were rats, Dad. Rats? Yeah, big ones.'} and rubber snakes {'Snakes, why'd it half to be snakes?'}.  Kids love finger food so for food serve hot dogs stuffed with cheese, wrapped in crescent dough and baked with mustard and ketchup to dip them in; bake sugar cookies and decorate to look like maps...

for narnia make your door like a wardrobe and hang coats and stuff that people have to push through to get in

For your Indiana Jones party - make caves in your house out of boxes, cover with spider webs, rubber snakes, spiders, etc.

You could go on a treasure hunt too.

Make a "dirt" cake, or a pyramid treasure cake.
